The INS chased a truckload of illegal immigrants this morning in my friends Ford Superduty to the border of Mexico. Without your efforts and dedication my friend would of never got his truck back. Thank you!

Sheriff Arpaio, THANK YOU for letting those who get into trouble with the law understand it will NOT be “glamorous”! I feel your tough system encourages inmates to get their act together. I’ll bet no other prison system has such a low rate of recidivism. Your inmates should feel lucky they are not in Russia. I have heard that in Russia, if their families do not provide for their food, clothing and heat…..they don’t have any! It should not be the responsibility of the American taxpayers to support those who CHOOSE to break the law. As far as having preferential treatment if you are not yet convicted….well, I’ll bet those who have been incarcerated and released will think twice before placing themselves in similar situations! I don’t know where some of these idiots get off thinking jail needs to be a coddling place with movies and concerts and cable tv. We’ve seen what happens in jails where those tactics are employed. Some of those perpetrators are in and out of the system so many times, we lose count! I personally do not feel you are doing anything wrong, in fact, I WISH other prisons would follow suit! I just heard you say you are punishing anyone who has desecrated the Flag. A VERY special thank you for that!
